Chophouse 101

The area is nice where the restaurant is located the food was good, I’ve had better tasting fish at other restaurants, the bread was delicious, the fries are good, my wife liked her steak so that was a plus because she is very picky about her food and whatever my daughter had she said was very delicious! The service was decent, the atmosphere was fun and energetic. We will be going back to eat to try some other things.

I stopped by during an off time in the late afternoon so there was no rush in getting and perfectly cook burger, right? The cook should have had no pressure to rush it, right? Wrong. I did order it well done but that was to ensure it was cooked to the proper temperature for safe consumption. How could a burger be both burned AND undercooked??? See the evidence. I way over paid for this poorly cooked lunch.

We had an unplanned visit to Kannapolis. This revitalized town has really come along way, and it is drawing people. Glad to see this Chophouse was packed for a Saturday night. There was some wait but not too bad, it gave me a chance to walk around and take some pics & go over their menu. We ordered the Ahi Ahi Tuna appetizer, 9 oz. filet mignon (I enjoyed it, nice flavor, tender) & my husband had the prime rib. The garlic mashed potatoes & Caesar salad (not pictured) was good. I shared my husband’s veggies- they tasted fresh. Our server, Zoe was very attentive and kept coming back to see if we liked everything and needed anything else. I am a bit of a history buff. Do not forget to look at the historical photos hanging around the restaurant. I took some pics. It’s neat! Overall, the Chophouse did not disappoint, when we visit Kanapolis again, we will have to try some more items off their menu. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Chophouse 101 through both delivery, takeout, and dine-in service, and I must say, each experience has been exceptional. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. No matter how I choose to enjoy their delicious dishes, my order is consistently accurate and prepared to perfection. One dish that never fails to impress me is the teriyaki salmon. The flavors are exquisite, and the salmon is always cooked to perfection, with a beautifully glazed and tender texture. Whether I'm dining in or ordering for delivery or takeout, Chophouse 101 consistently delivers a high-quality dining experience. The attention to detail and the commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. I highly recommend Chophouse 101 to anyone looking for a delicious meal with friendly service.

4 stars because we had a sweet waitress and the prices for the steaks were not bad. Got a sirloin and filet Mignon. Both cuts were good and cooked well. We got salads, sweet potato fries, and the bees knees. My husband surprised me with a chocolate cake which was good. The rolls at the beginning were great! Wish we would have gotten more. Salads were small, but the balsamic vinaigrette was good. The sweet potato fries definitely have cinnamon and sugar on them. I would prefer something more savory in terms of seasoning for the sweet potato fries. I was wanting vegetables, but after I was told it was the carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower I instantly thought of the frozen medley you can buy at the store (which is exactly what it looks like). The bees knees was okay. Not well mixed. The steak is definitely worth it. It’s a decent place, just wish they had less sugary options and more of fresh seasonal veggies instead of freezer veggies. They do have asparagus but I know for some that’s an squired taste. They have basic cakes/pies for dessert.
